The host was excellent and made us feel very welcome after a tough and rainy hike. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing.

This guesthouse was awesome, its a nice small house with a comfy tatami room that lets you really feel that you are in rural Japan but what makes this guesthouse exceptional is the proprietor that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, starting with a bag of traditional Japanese snacks you get after you check in I can't recommend this place enough!! Also I suddenly needed medical attention and this guy made me an appointment, drove me to the hospital and translated everything for me I will always be grateful for that. Truly an exceptional guesthouse that I can recommend to everyone

- The host Hiroko. She gives personalized attention. She made me feel at home and taken cared of. It was great to make friends with her especially as a foreign solo traveler. - The thoughfully prepared welcome tea, sumptuous dinner, and hearty breakfast to fuel a day's hike. - The room – very cozy. - The bathroom. The town is beautiful, there is also a nice beach right next to the hostel. ICHIE was the perfect accomodarion and the cakes are just delicious!

Amazing place - it’s huge and the host is lovely guy who runs a great outdoors shop downstairs! The town is lovely and it’s in a great location, near the station and loads of places to eat nearby.

The place was immaculately kept, cute and cosy with an amazing view. Our hosts were the loveliest people who cooked us incredible meals. I can't recommend them enough. All their effort for such a cheap price was truly unexpected and incredibly appreciated.
