The family was incredibly helpful coming for me to the island, helping me with my itinerary the next day and even bringing me some lunch box when they realize I travelled to an isolated area. The house had a beautiful garden and I slept in a big room with a closet and a bathroom just for me. The breakfast had plenty of local food and I couldn’t even finished it!! and they even provide snacks and a cold bottle of water at night.

The place has a beautiful design and Alrik, the manager, made us feel at home. We felt at ease and very welcomes. The rooms are traditional, with a twist, and the kitchen is very well-equipped. The common area is also really cozy, perfect to hang out when it rains. We loved the reading nook. The village is calm and has a beautiful Shinto shrine, a view from the cemetery, and a nice bamboo forest. We'd love to come back, especially because of Alrik's hospitable regard.
