We loved our stay here and stayed longer than planned as our ferry was cancelled due to the weather. The owner made our stay special by helping us to cancel and change other reservations we made. The facilities are all super clean and nice. The kitchen area is very well equipped and you have everything to cook. It is outside but under a roof. The beds are super comfy and we slept very well. The owner also helped us a lot planning hikes and activities. She is a wonderful person!

An amazing place to stay for a vacation in Yakushima. The location is spectacular with a sea view, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The owners of the hotel are charming and help with everything we need, they helped us perfectly in preparing the visit to the island. we had a great time and loved the guest house. the room was beautiful and spacious. our hosts were very nice and helped us with everything - even picking us up from a bus station and driving us to the nearest supermarket and ATM as we couldn't rent a car. if you don't have a car you will rely on irregular bus schedules - but that would be true for the whole island. there is a bus stop a couple of minutes away from the guest house - easy to get to. you can have dinner and breakfast for a good price and it was delicious. We would recommend it to everyone!

Wonderful bathing facilties, very comfy tatami room with sea view. The staff anticipated what we neeed to know about our hiking plans and even drove us to meet a bus one day. They were generous in many ways.

The female dorm room was pretty new and very clean. I liked the curtain on the side of the bed that gave me privacy. Coming out of the mountains after spending 3 nights in huts, this hostel couldn't have been more luxurious, with warm shower and own bed. The extra wash basin in female dorm room was great. The bathtub was tiny to have a shower but still functional. It was the only spot that I thought it could be cleaner.

- Simple yet beautiful room on the second floor of the new building / great view on the mountains. - Fully equipped hotel with spotless kitchen and laundry room. - shared bathroom and toilets were extremely clean. - Fresh towels every day. - Very nice and helpful staff at the front desk, we were welcomed with informations on the area and a map for hikes. - Cafes and dinner options in the area, even in low season (we visited in February)
