We stayed two nights in Bokonbayevo. The beds were much more comfortable than they look in the pictures. The house is special, built by the owners themselves, and has a lot of character. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Ibrahim and his dad are great at chess, and Ibrahim is especially good with people — he can talk to anyone and is also fun to play cards with. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Bokonbayevo

Spacious property and rooms - plenty of spaces for relaxing outside of the room. Hosts were fantastic and went above and beyond during my stay. Helped me with transport and organising activities in the area. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic.

Very clean and neat guesthouse. We had homecooked breakfast and diner with the family in the yurt in the garden. They were a friendly helpfull and welcoming family. The grown up children spoke english. The boy works at cbt and helped us organising tours. We had a lovely stay there and would absolutely recomend Green House as the place to stay in Bokonbayevo.

Has the kindest and most caring host. I was a little unwell, and she brought me tea to my room throughout the day, and made sure I was okay and well fed. Clean, everything works, brilliant view and all round great value for money. Kitchen was being renovated, but I was kindly invited inside the main house to use their kitchen, so not a problem at all.

The yurt camp location is amazing - to get there you drive through the Ak-Sai canyons, and find yourself in a peaceful, beautiful place only a stone's throw from the shore of Issyk-kul. The food was delicious with plentiful tea, and the owners are very helpful when it comes to arranging a transfer from Bishkek, taxis or activities around the camp (we went horseriding). Highly recommended and would love to go back.
