The man running the hotel is very nice, the food is good (and a lot) and the hotel is in a very nice location. From the inside the hotel looks a bit older, but that's fair for the price you pay.

Everything about Rangale House is just amazing. The view from the balcony and room was so beautiful, the staff was welcoming and warm, the room was cozy and comfortable and the home made food is just delicious. We also went one a small hike around the tea plantages recommended by the manager. We would come back any day

Calm village with beautiful houses, rice paddies and small shops. The swimmingpool is big and good for swimming. The family is very friendly and helpful. The son helped me to get my dialog app, so I always have internet access. The father helped me get pick me app, so I easily can get a tuktuk to a local price. The family drives to Kandy city regularly, so I have been able to get a ride sometimes for free. It should also be easy to get to the city with bus. The breakfast is big and good. I got bread with butter and jam, fruit, pancakes with coconut sugar, omelet and tea. You can also choose local breakfast. I often had free lunch which was very tasty. I stayed for 10 days, because I liked that it was quiet, local, good food, swimmingpool, easy to get to the city, cheap and also a good workplace (I was working on a website). Remember to go to the local temple - it's like a hidden gem in the mountain. Ask the host😊

We loved this accommodation. Located in Rangala and not far from the Knuckles Mountain Range, our room had a fantastic mountain view. The room was spacious and clean and the owner was very welcoming. There is a beer house downstairs which was a great way to meet some of the locals. The food we had for dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Loved the personal touch and attention provided by the staff. We paid extra for meals prepared by the inhouse chef which were all DELICIOUS! All meals were beautifully presented and very, very tasty. Rooms are big and comfortable. The house manager assisted us with organisation of daily excursions and taking us to climb a nearby rock with exquisite views. We had an amazing three nights at this beautiful location and would love to return one day!

The best stay I've ever had. Memorable for life for sure! I was so stressed out by Kandy's hectic city vibes, that their beautiful hotel felt like an oasis (just as it looks and feels like on the photos). I had completely forgotten about dinner, and was surprised with scrambled eggs on toast (my favorite!). Chanaka & Moon are two beautiful people, who look after their guests wonderfully. Even though I would not like to visit Kandy city again, I would visit again only to stay at Villa Olde Ceylon for multiple days <3

Quiet area close to nature.the staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and common areas for working. We loved it so much we extended our stay.
