Excellent service and an amazing manager. We were checked in early and welcomed with fresh juice. The rooms were spacious and very nice, and the view from the balcony was fantastic. One of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at in Sri Lanka — everything was just as it should be. The breakfast was huge and delicious. Our flight was late in the evening, and we were allowed to stay and use the hotel facilities even after checking out. On top of that, the lovely manager entertained us with interesting stories about Sri Lanka. We truly regret not being able to stay longer. Highly recommended!

We really liked the stay. It was end of season and not busy. The room (No. 12) was clean, power outlets near the beds. Even the switch for the fan. Mosquito net in front of the bathroom window. Nice balcony. Very friendly and welcoming host. Offered us a different room, due to a loud party in the neighbourhood. Can't tell about breakfast, since it was not included. Best stay so far in Sri Lanka.

We loved everything about Sweden Inn. The beautiful owner was so welcoming, friendly, and speaks perfect English. She helped us get settled and advised us about transport. The room was so big and spacious. The A/C was fantastic. The property is in a prime location, yet was quiet and peaceful at the night time. We would love to come back again!

Very impressed at the quality and comfort for the price. The bathroom was one of the nicest I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. I also appreciated the balcony and the small fridge in the room. A/C worked well. We briefly met the owner and he was very welcoming to us.

Very clean, rooms are light and airy, bed super comfortable. I had an AC room but the ceiling fan would probably have been sufficient. Family run. Owner Chamara is very helpful. Beach area with umbrellas and recliners. Location is on the main road. 10 minute walk to the supermarket. Big choice of restaurants and bars but the hotel restaurant is superb (and reasonable) so I ate here each night of my stay, which I extended as the place is so pleasant. There’s a bar directly opposite with live music (which stops promptly at 10pm)
