Absolutely amazing stay at Surf Lodge! We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food at the cafe is so delicious and the staff were extremely friendly! We had unforgettable couple of days and felt like we are at home! You can access the beach from the beautiful garden, there was a yoga class in the morning and also if you would like some other activities just ask the staff! The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom that was outside was a great experience :) Definitely recommend the place and can’t wait to come back again! Thank you!

I would recommend this place to everyone. The staff is the best, i felt very welcomed and was taken care of almost like a family member. Big thanks to Mr. And Mrs. Dias and Jehan which made my stay outstandig. The breakfast was delicious and the little suprises made it so special. The rooms are just as in the pictures and the staff is taking very good care of the property.. It is very near to a big supermarket and the beach is just across the street.

I had a fantastic stay at this guest house, which is perfectly located just 5 minutes from the local train station and only 10 minutes from the beautiful Weligama beach. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure all our needs were met, providing a welcoming and caring atmosphere throughout our stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, ideal for preparing meals, and the room was not only comfortable but also cozy and peaceful. The garden is a lovely retreat where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. What’s more, the guest house has a great community vibe, making it an ideal place to meet fellow travelers and share experiences. It was easy to connect with other digital nomads and adventurers. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great base to explore the area while having all the comforts of home!

On the other side of the street you will find the turtle beach (we saw turtles there!) • Great view from the balconies - it’s a lot of green and we saw monkeys there • The price was amazing! • the free shower gel smells good

Amazing experience. After a long drive we were met with a warm welcome, glasses of cold juice, and a pre-air-conditioned room with a lovely smell. The room had everything to make you feel at home: tasteful decor, comfortable beds, AC, plenty of storage space, a bright portable lamp to get you through brief power cuts was a lovely touch. Everything’s VERY clean. Any questions/issues were resolved momentarily. Special mention goes to breakfast - BEST breakfast you can get on this island. Huge thank you to the hosts for providing such a great experience <3

Perfect location, close to beach, supermarket, bus stop and restaurants but still quiet during the night. Room with AC was very nice and beautiful, even had a hair dryer. Lovely family with cute dog, great breakfast with many different options. There is the option to organise laundry and taxi.

Very clean and nice family run guest home with kitchen with fridge close to the beach and surf spots in Weligama. The bed was comfortable and there was always hot water. The family are very kind and helpful and I was able to extend my stay by one night spontaneously. Thank you, Chaminda!

Amazing hospitality. Thanks to Anke, we felt like home. The surroundings of the pool are awesome. Great internet connection. Delicious breakfast. It’s a very private place, since there are only two rooms available to book. Both are very comfortable.

Amazing location very close to the beach and restaurants. The room was great with Aircon and wifi was very reliable. The owners are very sweet and kind they made us feel very welcomed. Each morning they made us a massive breakfast which included either a choice of a western breakfast or Sri Lankan breakfast and also included fruit, pancakes and coffee or ice coffee( which was delicious). Whenever my parent and I arrive back at the room we were greeted with sweets and coffee/tea free of charge. We will definitely be recommending this accomodation to everyone know. We will definitely be returning here when we are next back in Sri Lanka. Once again thank you so much
