We loved our stay at Shevyhaws, and would love to stay there again. Chaminda and his family are wonderful guests, they could not do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and had everything from fruit, to toast, jams and omlettes to curry and roti and pancakes. Accommodation is a bit away from town about 2.5 km, but that was not a problem as Chaminda gave us rides to and from town at no cost, whenever we texted him. He recommended a delicious vegetarian restaurant. He organised daytrips with his 4x4 Jeep at very good prices including the Horton plains, and some tea plantations and waterfalls. The Lovers leap with it's beautiful surroundings is 15 mins walking distance from Shevyhaws. Shower wàs hot and powerful and bedroom was spotlessly clean and included warm cosy blankets for the colder nights. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this beautiful place. The owners are incredibly friendly and thoughtful and have done everything they can to make your stay perfect. Everything was perfect: The entire house is 100% spotless, the breakfast is plentiful and good, the shower is hot! We even had our own little sitting area just outside the room (nice to sit there if it is raining). The owner has a tuk tuk and offer rides at very fair rates. It is easy walking distance to Lover’s Leap waterfall and nice walks around the tea estate, otherwise a walk or tuk tuk ride into the center. If I could give this a higher rating I would!

Had a perfect stay at RC AWKWARD.The room is clean and quiet，and the host is nice.One day I went back to my room at around 11pm，the host was still waiting for me.The food（both the breakfast and the dinner）tastes good，which was made by the sister of the host，who is also a kind person.Miss the day there，hope one day I'll be back in Nuwara Eliya and sing again with the host.

The breakfast was fantastic, very well presented,locally sourced fresh fruits every morning. Great value for money. All food was excellent and staff also so helpful and kind.the room was excellent and bed very comfortably and clean. Top class location and lots to do in the area.the owner of the property gave us some valuable information about local interesting sites in the areas definitely worth a visit.we hope to come back next year to the edgeware Inn neweralia. Can't fault anything top class all round.well done guys.

We spent a wonderful stay in Green Gregory Villa, everything was perfect ! I went there 5 years ago and was very happy to come back to this place, for so many things !! The hosts : very very nice, helpful in every thing, had good advices on activities, and they cooked delicious breakfasts and rice& curry for dinner, we definitely recommend to have these meals at their house ! The place : so lovely, just in front of tea plantations ! You will enjoy a cup of tea with a breath-taking view from the terrace, surrounded by nature sounds; a peaceful place.

The host and her mum were just AMAZING! Taking care of us in every single detail, suggesting activities and making a super great breakfast. We even had dinner at their place and they just cooked super delicious curries. The most amazing thing was that I am vegan and they really pay attention to this at the point that they even cooked a delicious vegan dessert for us (which was already traditionally vegan I guess). But I can tell you that I have been in hotels in Sri Lanka where I got fruits for dessert (effort = 0). Here the effort was 100%! They also where so thoughtful and gave us a warm water bottle to warp up in the colder night in the chalet ☺️🫶🏽 I can only highly recommend them, everything was perfect! Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality Romeny and family!
