I stayed 4 nights at Jay’s Guest and absolutely loved it! The room and kitchen were super clean, and the whole place felt like home. It’s perfect if you want to cook your own meals or do laundry during your stay. If the location works for you, I’d definitely recommend it.

Exceptional and unique. Service and cleanliness was impeccable. The room itself is very spacious, and at a comfortable temperature despite the heat outside. Piyanth, our host, was friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended - the sort of experience you will not find in any hotel or resort. The accommodation has a stunning design, you could easily spend hours in the lobby just analyzing the beautiful collection of design objects. The pool is just perfect, the staff is very helpful. Everything is super clean, the breakfast is absolutely delicious, the bed is super-comfy, the garden is an oasis. For us, two adults and a 5 years old, this was the perfect way to start our adventure in Sri Lanka. Thank you.

    Great host. Really helpful in nature, peaceful location, a bit farther away from main attraction area of Colombo, a bike/scooter/tuk tuk/bus needed for commuting between Galle face, Pettah, Fort area. Great budget option. Really homestay like feeling, finally stayed there for more than one instances, the owner became a friend, still in connection with her. Without a word she agreed to keep our luggage when we were out of Colombo for further journey. Would like to repeat the same option of staying here.

    Shiranthi is a lovely host. She gave us a lot of useful information and made us tea every morning. The location is a little outside of Colombo but reachable very easily and cheap by local bus. It felt like home for 3 nights. We would definitely recommend

    My room at Shiranthi Guest House was very peaceful and was spacious and comfortable. Shops and transport were an easy walk away through a pretty neighbourhood, and the owner was particularly kind. This is a quiet, inexpensive, and convenient place to stay in Colombo.

    The host is just extremely nice! Thanks to her, it feels more like a home rather than guesthouse. Place is close to everything you might need, within 10-15 minutes ride to majority of places. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe.
