Best guest house I stayed at in Sri Lanka so far. Probably the best place to stay in Trincomalee. Excellent value. The whole place is incredibly clean, tidy and hygienic. 10 second walk to a beautiful beach. The room is spacious enough to practice yoga/ exercise. The family owners are very kind, relaxed and accommodating. I felt really good here and wish I could have stayed longer. Rent your moto here, I didn’t even ask the price because I instantly trusted the owner when I met him and was given a fair rate when I checked out. I would come back here without a doubt. 100% book this place if you come to trincomalee.

We stayed three nights at Nature Beach Huts and from the moment of the booking to our leave everything was fantastic! Brenda took so good care of us! We got the best route to get to the hotel via WhatsApp, got sight-seeing suggestions and Brenda was open for all of our questions. The Huts are made with so much love for detail. The close by beach is small but the water is wonderful. Separated from the oceans by a ring of stones, the laguna is 60 cm deep max and it’s so warm! Brenda is a fantastic cook. We stayed in for breakfast and dinner. We did a tour through Trincomalee with her brother as well as a nightly jungle walk. Both was really interesting and he explained a lot about Hindu temples and the wildlife.

Nice place—good value for the price. The family running it is very welcoming, kind, and decent, which made the stay feel comfortable. It’s just about 50m to the beach, so the location is also ideal. There are also some nice restaurants nearby if you want to try something different. Overall, a great stay!

Wow, what an amazing place to stay. I loved absolutely everything. It felt like home. The room is comfortable and spacious, the bed cozy, with a big bathroom. I slept like a baby throughout the entire stay. The property is located 3 minutes by foot from the Uppuveli beach. It features a nice garden with a hammock and chairs. Rangan, the host, is a wonderful person. Besides that, he is a snorkeling guide, dive master and phenomenal chef, very loving and caring, extremely attentive to the needs of his guests. Family dinner is available every night. You can also order breakfast and lunch and they are so delicious! I am still missing those meals. It was probably the best and healthiest food i have had in Sri Lanka. Vegetarian and vegan options are available. Rangan always tries to impress his guests with new dishes. Fantastic. I highly recommend booking a snorkeling or a diving trip with him. He really takes care of you and is very passionate about the subject. Overall i had a wonderful time in the White house and didn't want to leave. I will definitely stay there again, once I'm back to Trinco.

Pleasant Park Holiday Inn was exactly that - pleasant! The room was even better than in the pictures and I was surprised with the cleanliness of it. The staff was very approachable and not obtrusive. The owner was very fun to talk to as he has interesting stories from all over the world. I would gladly recommend this stay!

A perfect couple of days staying at this wonderful new property in Uppeveli. The room was very spacious and light, the mattress and bed were really comfortable, the bathroom is also wonderfully soacious with 2 very good showers. Beyond the bedrooms, there are plenty of more communal spaces (currently no seating, but you can easily take the chair from your bedroom out here) and a wonderful veranda surrounding the whole of the 1st floor. The host is incredibly kind and helpful, and is able to arrange tours with his contacts if you would like. Location wise, it is down a quiet lane just off the main road, making it easy to access yet remarkably peaceful. You can access the beach a 5 minute walk away, which is perfectly okay if you would like to go for a beach walk or watch a gorgeous sunrise with the locals out on their finishing boats. Beyond that, just a 5 minute Tuktuk ride away is Fernando’s bar, which has a lively beach bar feel, catering for any kind of food, with hammocks and sun loungers under the palms, and beach parties every night. 5 minutes in the other direction from the hotel is Trincomalee, allowing you to see the more cultural side of the area. All in all, this great new property is great value, in the ideal location to explore the areas easily, and with a host who bends over backwards to accommodate you- if you are looking for a place to stay near Trincomalee, this is the place to go.
