What a great place this is. Big bed and super comfy, Decent sized patio area outside with a garden area and table and chairs. There are also hammocks in the garden for you to relax on. The owners are really nice and helped us with anything we needed. The hotel is situated seconds away from all bars and restaurants and 3 mins walk from Unawatuna beach. Would definitely return here if we are in Unawatuna again.

The stay was very nice, clean and comfortable. I liked the room balcony and it's view of plant field. The room was really big and clean. The beach and market was few minutes walk. The place was peaceful and the staff really helped me in early check-in and also I was able to use the common space to wait and keep my luggage after check out as well. The breakfast was also nice. I highly recommend the stay.

The property is located 1minute walk from the beach. It is beautifully clean and staff is helpful and friendly. Beds are comfortable. Airconditioned room. Breakfast was generous and scrumptious. We had a lovely stay!

Everything! The place and the owners were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were big and very clean. We booked for one night and stayed a few more days, as we really liked the place. Ill definitely come back! Thanks for your hospitality, good luck!

I really loved the stay at villa gaetano. It’s located very quietly in the nature but still in good distance to the city center. The family hosting the hotel is extremely kind and had a good sense of where they can support without being pressuring anything on you (e.g. helping out with a ride to the city, organizing laundry, bringing a coconut to the pool after checking out). It’s really a family business where everyone helps out as they can which is lovely to see and I can only recommend supporting them. If there would be anything I could complain about than it would be that I felt bad about not finishing the huge and amazing breakfast they prepared for me.

- The Villa - it is a brend new place, everything is shining and clean. Very good bed, hot shower, good air com, and Fan, very comfortable place. - Location - 15 min walk to Unawatuna beach / 10 min walk to Fisherman’s beach / 20 min walk to Jungle beach and Japanese Pagoda Temple ( 8 min in a steep road). - Staff - The best service is provided in this place. Wishwa is the best host ever and a really good chef who provided us an amazing Sri Lanka style breakfast during our 3 nights stay. He did everything to make us comfy providing food, recommendations to go, scooter rental, taxi and laundry. He was great and beyond. Mr Damith had greet us perfectly as well.

We had an excellent stay! The accommodation is very well equipped and has everything you need. It also features an incredible, lush garden — very natural and peaceful. The beach is just a 1-minute walk away. The host was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Tucked away down a laneway too narrow for a car, the Village Inn is simple and low-budget, but doesn’t disappoint. Clean, with comfortable bed and outside furniture, aircon, fan, simple bathroom with hot water, fridge, and clothes hanging space. A simple mosquito net hangs over the bed, and I recommend having some mosquito repellent on hand to keep them at bay. The owners are friendly and very helpful, and also run a simple shop at the end of their laneway. Squirrels and occasionally monkeys will be seen from the balcony. Close to multiple restaurants and a great family-friendly beach, although you may be able to get a simple in-house breakfast if you pre-arrange it with the owners. Recommended for the budget conscious traveller.

Always attentive and does everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
