Very clean and comfortable room with air conditioning. We had a long, tiring day before we arrived and it was a big relief to rest in a nice place and have a hot shower. The view from the terrace is amazing.

Sahan Guest House was an awesome find! The welcome was warm and genuine — I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a great touch after a long trip. The location is perfect — right in the city, close to everything, and just a short ride to the ancient city. Super convenient if you’re exploring the cultural sites nearby. There’s also fast food and other restaurants nearby if you’re craving a quick bite. Honestly, the hospitality here is top-notch. Sahan and the team really care about their guests. A lovely family that welcomes you as if you’re part of their own. They are incredibly kind and open-hearted. The breakfasts were delicious, with a choice of either Western or local options. They also offer bike rentals, which is the best way to explore the area since it’s quite a large complex. The location is very convenient, right next to the historic site.
