This is my honest opinion. I was in many guest houses and hotels. So, this is one of the best guest house to stay. Very clam ful. Staff best. It is worth the money. Superb. Thank you mister ....( I don't know his name). Highly recommended. ( Also, the bathroom is very clean. The bed is comfortable.)

This was the first stop in our Sri Lankan trip and We weren’t quite ready to brave the hustle bustle of Colombo, Athma house was perfect for that. A small escape where you could admire the city lights over the lake while nestled behind a jungle shield. However central enough for you get out there if you want to. The owner of the property was our highlight. A fabulous well traveled woman with a warm welcoming energy. Her mission to make us feel at home. The interior was a feast for the eyes. Authentic and eccentric. The property was originally built as her home and it still feels that way, lived in and full of soul. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We stayed for one night and would recommend a minimum of two nights.

Had a great stay at this place. Actually, the best place to stay while extending your visa:passport office is just 600 m away. It is a nice quite area close to Colombo center. Not on the noisy steer but still close to shops and other facilities. Hot water in the shower, good WiFi. The owner is super friendly and helpful, such a great guy. Highly recommended!

Great joint. Room is little hence the name economy single room.  There's no windows so wouldn't recommend staying for longer than two or 3 nights. But they do have other doubel sized rooms if you wanna stay for longer.The place is spot on. Clean and well Maintained. The house owners are kind and reasonable people as well. I don't know what the previous asian lady was talking about but they do provide free WIFI and no dramas with the toilet tissues. Overall brilliant place for a visit. Get some business done or for a good night sleep before you hit your long trip.

This place is so beautiful and the rooms are so spacious, well arranged and comfortable!! It is ideally located between Colombo and the airport. The owner Anusha is also incredibly nice, she will take care of you like one of her own and will help you with anything you might need. This is a beautiful place in all the different ways, I truly recommend it!!

Comfy bed, quite neighborhood but walking distance to centre. Next to Gangaramaya temple and a nice lake. Personnel was very helpful and went out of their way to support and help. Kalindu, Nigel and derryl did an amazing work at answering every question, giving travel advice (I stayed longer then planned!) And in general being very warm hearted. Would come again!

We absolutely loved our stay! Excellent location for those who are looking for a more peaceful stay in hectic Colombo. Lovely neighbourhood, very walkable, with lots of great restaurants and cafes very close by. The villa is beautiful and very comfortable. Very spacious room, new bathroom and the bed was comfy. The owner is very nice and we enjoyed talking with him at night. We will definitely come back next time we are in Colombo.
