Awesome and friendly staff, that make you feel like at home. They have been so kind to even organize a private yoga lesson for us. The accomodation is super comfortable and clean, surrounded by a jungle-like garden. Breakfast was rich, full of yummy fruits and more. Close to the beautiful jungle beach and 7 minutes tuk tuk to weligama.

OMG!!!! What a lovely place. We were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. The staff are the kindest and most thoughtful I ever met. Breakfast was delicious with so much to choose from. My stay in rusara guest home was amazing. The family were super nice and friendly, but not overbearing at all. Helped with whatever I needed. Hot water for showers (wasn't needed for my stay as it was quite hot) , and a fan in the room made it all comfortable. Perfect place to relax for a few days , location right by the beach and a ten minute walk to cheap local food. Can very much recommend staying here if looking for somewhere to stay in weligama for a few nights.

Every room has it's own terrace with a lounger, chairs and table which is perfect to spend the hot hours of the day in the shade. Rooms are equipped with AC and fan and are spacious and cozy. Beds have a mosquito net so you can have a peaceful sleep. The beach is a little more than 5min walk from the property. We enjoyed that the guesthouse was right next to the river where we saw some birds and wildlife. Breakfast varies and is a good start for the day. We booked for one night and stayed ten, because we liked everything so much.

I had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Weligama surf point, restaurants, cafés, and all the main spots. The room is the biggest I’ve seen in Weligama, very clean, new, and fully equipped with everything you need. We even cooked our own meals in the room, which was very convenient. The host is very responsible and always ready to help. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Weligama!
