Perfect location with views of the dunes straight from the gate but only 5mins walk from the town centre. We had planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. The room was spacious, the shower hot and the WiFi fast. Mohammed is the perfect host, helping us organise quad bikes and a night in a camp in the dunes. He could not have been more helpful and friendly and ensured we had no shocks with pricing at any point. Some of our favourite times were just sitting in the courtyard drinking tea and chatting with Mohammed.

We loved our stay here! The riad is right on the edge of the dunes, making it perfect for sunset walks and incredible photo opportunities. We were warmly welcomed and really well looked after throughout our stay. The hosts gave us great tips on what to do in Merzouga and helped make everything easy. The food was amazing so definitely have dinner here. Our room was absolutely huge, beautifully decorated, cool, and spotless. It was the perfect place to stay in Merzouga!

Amazing location with beautiful views of the dunes. Got up each morning and walked over the to dunes for sunrise. It's a beautiful place with spacious rooms, large beds and bathroom. The common areas inside and outside are lovely for relaxing. Wonderful staff, especially Brahim - so kind and helpful with a good sense of humour :)

Takojt was perfect! It has a very friendly and peaceful atmosphere, the staff and owner are amazing. They organised a camel trip into the desert and I spent the night in a treehouse! The food was good, the room was clean and comfortable, if you want to relax and see the desert, Takojt is the perfect place.

Not only we felt like home by Lahcen, the owner, but the food, the location and the trips were excellent. We decided to do a night in the desert and the experience was magical. We stayed at Riad Villa Amood, and without a doubt, it was the best hotel we experienced in all of Morocco! The atmosphere is unique — a blend of comfort, style, and pure relaxation. From the very first moment, you feel at home. The service is simply outstanding. The owner and the staff is caring, attentive, and genuinely friendly. This level of hospitality makes you feel truly looked after. The room itself was excellent: a very comfortable bed, wonderful toiletries from the local brand Botanica Marrakech, and divine fragrances both in the room and throughout the hotel. The food was absolutely the best we had in Morocco. Every meal was delicious and prepared with love. We even stopped by once just for breakfast while driving near the riad next day, they welcomed us and offered breakfast free of charge — such a touching gesture! The outdoor pool was spotlessly clean and perfect for relaxing during the hot desert afternoons. For those traveling by car, parking is spacious, secure, and conveniently located right next to the hotel. If we could rate it higher than 10, we absolutely would. This place is a true oasis in the desert and comes with our highest recommendation. Our only regret was booking just one night. Next time we return to Morocco — and we surely will — we will stay here again, and nowhere else.

The location is stunning. We loved our very comfortable tent and slept soundly in the plush bed. The camp is beautiful and surrounded by dunes. We had an amazing dinner and the breakfast was delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the sunset camel trek in the dunes, it was a once in the lifetime experience. The night sky full of stars is breathtaking! 100% recommend this place!
