I could not have wished for better hosts. Nothing was too much for them both. They have a lovely family and work very hard keeping the guests looked after. They went out of their way to do a little shopping for us before we arrived for essentials etc. Tea - Coffee Milk and snacks etc. The balcony area was really cosy and the gardens below well maintained with sub-tropical plants etc. Had a wonderful stay and a big thank-you to the family x

A wonderful place and warm and charming people at a level I did not know. They took care of everything for me at any hour even for special requests beyond the usual. Everything is very clean and tidy and well-equipped, a large and comfortable bed, there are sitting areas and a pleasant and large balcony facing the beach. The location is excellent, right on the beach and accessible to public transportation. A supermarket is a few minutes away by bus. Soorekha and Navin are lovely people, they treated me just like a family member, professionals and know how to recommend trails according to the nature of my trip, guide and help me get there, organize guided tours for me when I needed them and helped me personally with things I needed more than usual and continued to be there for me even after that I left and when I needed help at every hour.

Absolutely perfect, it was better than a 5-star hotel we've ever been to. We stayed at Maison Tropical in for our wedding, and it was simply magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt more comfortable and relaxed than in any luxury hotel. The apartment is more like villa and it was spotless, beautifully designed and surrounded by a calm tropical atmosphere that made us feel like in paradise. Polina and Joao are truly amazing hosts. They welcomed us so warmly with a lovely welcome package (the Ti’ punch recommendation was incredible) and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. They helped us with wedding preparations, ironed the wedding dress and prepared the suit, gave us great local recommendations and even done a personal photo shoot at the apartment and in their stunning garden. Their staff kept everything sparkling clean every day, including the pool. We also loved having free access to snorkeling gear, bikes, and many other thoughtful details. Staying at Maison Tropical wasn’t just accommodation, it was an experience filled with kindness, care and warmth. It will always hold a special place in our hearts.
