We are in luck because the property is new! We chose to stay here because we wanted to experience how is it feels like staying in a local heritage houses in Penang. We love how the owner transformed the prewar shophouses into modern living heritage guesthouse while preserve the authenticity vibes of the property. Excellent service by the staff and the self check in was so smooth. We enjoyed our stay very much, Thank you very much

Super clean ,clean air-conditioned ( new clean air-condition) ceiling fan ,big room common clean kitchen with free sugar tea coffee bread and pastrys gift from Aayu team ,our toilet and bathroom was private but as described it was outside of our bedroom (worked perfect for us),the best location you can have in George town is definitely this place ,all places malls, central bus stop, Armenian street ,art street ,china street all are about 10 -20 minutes walk, excellent communication with the responsible of the heritage villa, although the neighbourhood is alive afternoon and night with music restaurants etc the heritage villa is peaceful and relax unless you sleep before 22:00 which there is a little bit of local singing noice ,after 22:00 is silent ,safe neighbourhood ,safe parking outside of the villa for bikes

the staff was very helpful and friendly (we were booking for the wrong dates and it was easily changed) overall clean and in the center of george town

Location, Security & Staff - Aayu Stewart is one of the best places I've stayed in of all my travels. Location is very strategic, you could simply walk around from all the good places Georgetown has to offer. Give it 3 to 10 minute walk and you're there. It's literally, right in the middle! Security wise, the neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Passcodes from the main door and to the room is very simple to follow. Shane and his family are very welcoming and very efficient. What's amazing about this place is that it is very well-kept but you won't even see the staff going around the house. Meaning to say, you still get your own privacy and the chance to enjoy the place all to yourself. Comfort & Cleanliness - I would have to disagree with one of the comments here that there are bedbugs in this place. There is just none. The bed is very comfortable, sheets are very clean with a very fluffy comforter and pillows. Bath towels and face towels are provided (which is just the best!), bathroom is very clean with hand soaps, bath soaps, and shampoo for you too! Shane and his family even provided a baby cot and a baby tub for my 2 year old daughter (without us asking). And the room smells good as well. Downstairs they have the common area where you will find the kitchen and dining area. Aayu Stewart did a good job on making these areas functional yet so cozy to enjoy with. They have a fridge, a microwave, kettle and dining utensils and a washing machine at your dispense. Humble snacks and drinks (coffee & chocolate drinks) are also provided. Value for Money - I couldn't say more about this place. It has everything we needed as a family of 3, who stayed at their Deluxe King room for 4 comfortable nights. It's amazingly cheap for all the things it has to offer honestly, without compromising on anything. It's just the perfect place to stay be it short-term or long-term.

It's a really nice and quiet place located central to the bus station, the old town and a big mal. If you're nice to the cats, they'll come into your room. 😊

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel ! The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Location was perfect close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

It is cool place right in the middle of Georgetown with many bars and restaurants just minutes away. Place has his own charm, we really enjoyed our stay there. Staff was very friendly, room was very clean and with great bed for sleep. Free coffee, tea and water is just cherry on top.
