Nice, simple, clean, cosy, “ikea style”, good location, friendly staff. Yes it’s a bit noisy but I prefer noise with windows rather than silenses and no day light. So for me it was totally fine. Also the room is very spacious which is a big plus compare to other places

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel ! The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Location was perfect close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the entire week at Green Gates. The location was great and the building made us feel we were living during the colonial era Penang. The food in the area was great and the hotel is conveniently close to all the sites we wanted to visit in Georgetown. Ms Fazeela was an exceptional host and helped us with anything we needed. Looking forward to our next visit. The complimentary visit to the museum across the street is worth a visit as well.

We loved this accommodation! We've been travelling for nearly 3 months and this is one of our favourite stays out of everywhere. We thought the room would be quite small but it was very spacious. Spotlessly clean, staff were lovely, bed was comfy. Overall great stay.
