I recently had the pleasure of a staycation at Rumah No 5 in Taiping, and it was nothing short of amazing. The house is beautifully designed — Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, with cozy decor, ambient lighting, and 5 star hotel like touches that give the space real character. It's clear the hosts have put a lot of love into creating a welcoming environment. ✓ Air conditioned room ✓ Electric Kettle ✓ Water heater for shower ✓ Induction cooktop with cooking appliances ✓ Fridge ✓ Laundry - Washing Machine and Dryer ✓ Smart TV ✓ Free Wi-Fi The location is also ideal. It’s just a short drive to Taiping Lake Gardens and other attractions, but still feels secluded enough to enjoy total privacy. Not to mention the great host, En. Azmil who was previously a manager at 5-star-hotel in Langkawi- even let us checked-in earlier than the appointed time and thoughtful enough to show us around the house and explained every little details. If you’re looking for a cozy, peaceful, and stylish staycation spot in Taiping, I highly recommend Rumah No 5. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or a group of friends, it's a special place that makes you feel right at home with an affordable price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is neat and clean. The instructions to enter the hotel is easy to understand. It has multiple games to play such as UNO cards, mini snooker table. It's good for friends to enjoy their staycation. There was a parking spot reserved for their customer. They have a fridge, hot and cold water dispenser, dish soap and sponge to do the dishes, blankets were comfortable.

It resembles just like a stay in a regular 4 star hotel with complete amenities. A hair dryer, water heater, tea and coffee sachets etc. A very welcoming 'towels' neatly and creatively folded. The best is about TV set completed with YouTube. Staying here is never bored.

    Great location right in the centre of town and 20 minutes walk from the railway station. Plenty of restaurants and a mall nearby, also within 10 minutes walk of the lake gardens and several museums. Owners/staff were very friendly and welcoming. The whole hostel and cafe was very clean, much better than other places we have stayed at a similar price. Biggest surprise was that the cafe had a great selection of craft beers from around the world, prices were decent for Malaysia which can be very expensive for drinking.

    Sojourn Beds & Cafe is very comfortable this hostel is in city center of Taiping In the opposite side have a food court it's very easy to try a local food And the owner is very nice and very helpful and I stay in this hostel 2 time (First time in 2019) If you come to Taiping and you find the best hostel I recommend Sojourn Beds & Cafe Because you can safe money (The price is so cheap) and you can meet the new friends and shared your journey experince
