View from my room was super amazing, we watched sunrise from our hotel balcony and the city view was incredible too. The owner (Dai) was super helpful and friendly. He ensured everything is taken care of. Food was great too. So peaceful and quiet, couldn’t ask for more.

The family welcomed us so kindly, but that's Nepal for you. The room had so much sunlight with lots of windows you can open for fresh air, there was space to place our belongings, a decent sized bathroom, the power and wifi is good, it is quiet at night time. We were able to do some hand washing of our clothes outside and hang them to dry which is very handy! The location was good for us as it is out of the central hustle of Pokhara but close enough for walking to restaurants and the lake. The family was very helpful with all our queries and we would 100% stay again!

We travelled to Pokhara to do Poonhill trek and Harry Guesthouse was excellent choice because he owns travel agency "Sarangkot treks and expedition private" and it was very easy to agree on our private itinerary for good price before we traveled to Nepal. Finally everything was as agreed always intime and we had excellent guide on our trek. Accommodation itself is in quiet backstreet just 10min walk to lakeside, clean and with hot water. Simple room has quite new A/C and comfortable bed, maybe just pillow could be more soft ( not so full). Breakfast was very good as well.

I really felt at Home at Mountain House - both at the place and with the family. The family is very friendly, professional and creates a Home-like atmosphere. They helped me arrange my trekking in the Annapurna-region with an amazing guide. The food is excellent, the location is ideal if you want to be close to all parts of Pokhara lakeside but still have some peace, and the prices Are very reasonable. I booked three nights, but ended up staying all the nights I had in Pokhara. I can honestly recommend this place, and I will be blessed to come back one day.

The host was absolutely amazing, and so was the staff and food in the restaurant. It's super charming and cozy downstairs, with a nice little fireplace and a small corner with the owner's collection of sitars, sarangi and other musical instruments. Would love to come again.
