The stay was perfect. The host is a lovely person. She cared for us when we arrived at 5am and we were freezing - she gave us blankets and made us a coca tea while we were waiting for the accommodation. The room was the cleanest one we had in Peru, bathroom had a very good standard, bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere during the breakfast (which was great) was so nice that you could feel like at home. There was also possibility to talk in English with daughters of the host in case of arranging the laundry, baggage storage etc. If I come back to Cusco, I will book it.

Vilma is an absolutely extraordinary land lady. She is the nicest, most engaged host I have ever met. If you need taxi, directions through the city or a super early breakfast - there is no problem for her. The whole place is really clean and comfortable and she makes you feel like home. The localization is a bit distant from the direct city center, about 20 minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas, but thanks to that it is more calm. The markets are nearby and it is close to the San Pedro market. I trully reccomand this stay.

If you wanna be accommodated in a warm and friendly house, this is the one! Salome and his son helped us every time we needed info. They were so open and attentive to our needs which were to be heartly appreciated. The room was very simple: a bed, a table, a chair and a bedside table, but very, very clean and big enough. The breakfast was excellent every morning prepared by Salome: tea, coffee, milk, fresh juice, bread, omelette, ham, avocado, jam, butter and fruits. The shower had hot water every time we needed. 10 minutes to the center by foot and 15 or 20 minutes when coming up ( some stairs to be climbed ). A common terrace with a view over the city both during the day and the night. We weren't able to go to Machu Picchu because of the strikes at the end of January 2024, but Salome was so kind and arranged us to visit the Sacred Valley with just a few hours before the 1-day trip; many thanks for this as well.

Loved my stay there. Unfortunately, my Spanish is very poorly but the owner made an effort to translate everything into English via app. I very much appreciated that. I also liked that there was different breakfast every morning which she freshly prepared. The city centre is a 10 to 15 minutes walk away, so you can actually see something of Cusco on the way. The San Pedro market is very close and it's a must do in Cusco if you ask me. 😊

I stayed in Casa Conquista for three nights and I regret that I couldn't stay longer! The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the check-in was smooth. The place is very calm (no noise and cars passing around) with a mountain view. I slept very well there. The room is spacious with a lot of light, you have extra blankets to keep you warm. There is a kitchen with drinking water and koka tea availible all day long to fight altitude sickness, the breakfast was great (I asked for vegan option and got freshly baked bread, avocado, ripe fruit, smoothie, coffee and tea). The shower has a heating machine so you can get warm water. It's walking distance from the main square, old town and Saqsaywaman. The area and the house felt very safe even for solo travelers like me.
