Exceed expectations. Great location with view of the waterfall. Staff were very warm and welcoming, treated guests like family. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I would definitely come back.

I would recommend staying at Hummingbird Hostel! It is clean and comfortable, basic, but has everything you need. It is not directly in the city center, but there are still restaurants and stores within minutes walking. It is a quiet hostel with few backpackers, but it met my expectations. The best part of the hostel is the owner, Silvia! She is delightful. She shared with me many recommendations for Paraguay. She even went above and beyond by driving me to the bus stop to my next city. I really appreciate Silvia's kindness!
