I really appreciated the kind personal working here. They helped me with advice and wanted to make sure that I had a good time. Also very nice interior, Terasse for common use. Very comfortable bed. Great to be able to buy a beer etc. Close to Ngor beach which is a nice place in Dakar.

The staff could not have been more nice with me. They were extremely generous and helpful. Food was good, as was their dear little dog Felwyn. Highly recommend

I had a fantastic experience at the Chambres d’hôte centre ville, where I stayed for over a week. Firstly, the residence has a great price-to-value ratio, probably unbeatable in Dakar. I went with an economic delegation from my home country, and my fellow delegates paid 5x the price to stay in hotels, without getting significantly better service. While this residence will obviously lack some of the flashier hotel perks such as a built-in restaurant or swimming pool, it is on par, if not superior in all the things that truly matter, such as room comfort, bathroom cleanliness, staff responsiveness, free wifi, in-room television (with access to shows and series from around the world) and the like. The location is fairly central, being minutes away from important landmarks such as the National Theatre, the port (from which you can go to the Île de Gorée, and the train station. The location is also fairly safe as there is literally a military base facing the entrance. The service level is particularly commendable. Mr. Dieng, the proprietor, is super responsive, and generally available on WhatsApp at all times of the day. Beyond troubleshooting issues such as with the AC or handling a reservation alteration, he also took care of other tasks such as booking a taxi to the airport the night before my flight. A cleaning lady comes in daily to refresh the rooms and common areas. I also particularly enjoyed the companionship of Mr. Koulibali, the doorman, who despite not sharing the same language was always very expressive and enthusiastic and made my stay all that more enjoyable. Another unexpected thing I enjoyed about the unit was the friendships I got to make with other residents. I met some people from other countries that I got to befriend on a truly personal level, to the point that we have been staying in touch past the trip. It’s the type of experience that you don’t get in a hotel and somewhat reminds me of the original value proposition that AirBNB used to offer.

Comfortable rooms, modern bathroom, excellent pool, welcoming hosts, aircon, breakfast, advice on where to go. Able to use pool when waiting for a afternoon flight after check out

Ronan is a very kind and friendly host. He even brought us food and showed us a bakery.

We stay only one night, and came very late. Owner was incredible friendly, he met us downstairs. In the morning he help us with our problems. We feel like in friend house. Thank You Sonu. Guest house is in good location, room clean, good WiFi.
