Great service. The hotel owner and his family are responsive and lovely people who helped us with everything. We felt like we were visiting family and not just checking into a hotel. We were picked up at the airport and the breakfasts were delicious. If I come back to Samarkand, I will definitely book the hotel again. Thank you to the whole hotel team!

The room was very nice, clean and well-equipped, the hosts were really kind and flexible. We had to leave earlier than the breakfast time on two of our mornings here and they provided us food for take away in a box. The location is also great, Registan square - and supermarkets, restaurants, etc. - are only a 10 minute walk away.

Beautiful hotel. Fantastic facilities. Very nice hot shower which feels amazing after a day out exploring out of the city. Breakfast was great. Run by a family who are lovely and pleasant. Great space to work during the day as well as we have remote roles. On the final day after we had checked out they allowed us to use the common area for as long as we needed and when the family who runs the hotel had a meal together that they had cooked they even invited us to join which we thought was so lovely and showed the genuine kindness of these people.

The Crystal Guest House is well located (in vicinity of Amir Temur Sqare and close to Registan). The ambiance is genuine and amazing, so the rooms. They welcomed me very friendly and the Check-In went smooth. They offered me the choice between two rooms and also checked me in 1h earlier. The room was clean and the bathroom well equipped. The AC was new as well as the entire interior. I tried the breakfast once, so they served me a variety of different food and made an omelette as well. The hotel was quite and the WiFi worked well, they even provided me an early check-out (like in 4 a.m.). On top of that they gave me a registration declaration (for visits more than 3 days). For me a high standard stay with a staff, which really cares about your comfort.

This is not really a hotel in a traditional sense, but more of a guest house or home stay. The owner family are the nicest most genuine people you will meet in Uzbekistan. The father is a kind and friendly man who will do his absolute best to do anything he can for you. His daughter helps serve breakfast and help me by translating my English. The wife/mother works tirelessly in the back ground, and will still smile and make you feel welcome. I could not thank them enough for being such excellent hosts and leaving me with very fond memories of the Uzbek people. Additionally: the breakfast is great and the place is very close to Gur-i Amir mausoleum (literally over the wall) and Registan is easy walking distance as well. The only place I personally found a bit too far away was the Observatory of Ulugbek. The rest I walked to, but I’m happy walking. They have a nice terrace up top that you can enjoy the views of Gur-i Amir.
