Everything was a short walk away - restaurants, the bazaar, the castle. Note: It's important to be aware that it's a very hilly town and you will be walking up or down almost all the time. I saw many people with walking sticks - definitely a good idea if you are at all concerned.

Amazing breakfast under a canopy of grapes, beautiful views from the room, clean and spacious private bathroom, well designed bedroom. Cute cats and tortoises to watch and say hi to. One of my favorite stays.

This was the best place we stayed in all of Albania for several reasons. The guesthouse itself is small and cozy. The location is unbeatable: less than 10 minutes walk to the bazaar and other sights, and very quiet. The restaurant across the street is almost an extension of the guesthouse and the staff there are welcoming and the food is good. The room itself was very small but that’s okay because we only slept there- most time was spent around Gjirokaster or on the terrace. The room and property is immaculately clean, and has one of the best showers I’ve ever had. The real highlights were the terrace and the hosts. That terrace with the view, shade, breeze, and smell of flowers is my happy place. Perfect for reading, relaxing, or having a drink outside. Mimosa and Pandeli are the most gracious, generous, kind, fun, hosts!!! We had so much fun using Google translation and pantomiming to have conversations. Mimosa was kind enough to bring us fresh fruit and salad on the hottest of days. Truly amazing people. Hope to see them again soon!!
