The eating area was really well decorated and made you feel like home. the food was excellent. We chose to eat dinner at the restaurant both nights because Siri’s cooking was delicious.

The host is very kind and giving. The rooms were very clean, they also provide bikes, SUPs a pedal boat and a kayak for 2 people free of charge. The outside of the stay is very clean and taken care of. Everything went very smoothly and the host provided anything we asked for.

The hostess Eva Knoll and staff are very pleasant and helpful and provide excellent information about all attractions in the magnificent Salzkammergut lakes area. The town of Schörfling itself is much less touristy than many other towns on the lakes making it a calm but convenient base for exploring the area while enjoying seeing life and traditional activities in a local community.

Located in a residential area just over the bridge, North of the town, it is just a 3 minute walk into the town center. In fact, the location is excellent because it is very quiet at night. Very comfy bed; great shower with lots of pressure and instant hot water. A breakfast I would call ‘continental plus’, it had everything I could want and the coffee, although from a machine, was very satisfying.
