Amazing weekend. We chose the pension because it's not far to the ski area by car and we were always looking forward to come back in the evening. The rooms and the bathroom are sparkling clean, recently reconstructed and spacious. Plus the sauna (included in price) is an ultimate heaven after a day in SkiWelt. Very easy check-in/out. The owners are absolutely fantastic, we felt welcomed and anytime we needed something they were excited to help us. Cannot wait to come again!

Lovely room, lovely breakfast, stunning location and Christian the owner was brilliant. We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

The location is ideally nestled in nature, with easy access to the city center. The surroundings are tranquil, offering a refreshing sense of calm.
