A special, family-run hotel. Great atmosphere and exceptional staff. We stayed with dinner and breakfast and they were wonderful, thoughtful and varied. The rooms are charming with balconies and huge windows. It is clear that every detail has been thought of. The staff was welcoming and helpful with everything needed.

We arrived quite late in the evening and the owner opened the restaurant (which was closed on that day) just for us and prepared a lovely dinner. We will never forget the wonderful hospitality.

Breakfast was included and great. Balcony with fantastic view! Walking distance to both castles (I recommend taking the pony cart up to Neuschwanstein if you aren't in the best physical shape). Quiet and peaceful. I didn't realize anyone else was there until I saw them in the breakfast room. Free parking on site. Lots of information available. Beautiful location, beautiful room, beautiful host.

...we actually like there everything to be fair, maybe exclude the behaviour of one waitress, but we can live with that and simply ignore.

The staff was really friendly. I could not speak German very well, but I tried to speak simple conversations in German. She taught me the words, "Have a nice Sunday! in German. She was a kind person and really comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful! There were about 4 different kinds of croissants, etc. and the ham was very good
