We used the Gasthof Schontal as a base for travelling to and from Kitzbuhel for a days skiing and the Hahnenkahm races. A half hour drive takes you to Kirchberg in Tyrol where there is free parking and a free shuttle train which takes you into Kitzbuhel itself. Perfect

Breathtaking location. A wonderful stay. The food and staff was excellent. It all made for a most special experience. Beds were really comfortable.

It's a lovely Gastehaus located opposite the main supermarket. Everything was spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast served with a smile 😊. We will be back!

Gasthof Schneerose er gististaður í Wildschönau, 27 km frá Kitzbühel Schwarzsee-golfklúbbnum og 30 km frá Kitzbuhel-spilavítinu. Þaðan er útsýni til fjalla. The breakfast was excellent start to the ski day. A short bus ride to the slopes. The host at the property was very helpful and friendly. I would return as soon as I can. Really enjoyed skiing with my family. Everyone very friendly. A bar and drinks available to buy if required. Lovely walk into a friendly picturesque village. Local shop if required. Great location.

Everybody was very friendly and we felt like at home. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the sauna. Strategically close to the slopes.

There’s a lot to like: the accommodation is close to the Schatzbergbahn, which you can use for free with the tourist card that you receive when checking in. Personnel is friendly, the restaurant has good food and we had a large room.
