It was very spacious, good facilities, light-filled and quiet. Our host was charming and very helpful with both walking maps and places to eat. We had a car, so we could easily get to the places we wanted to go. As we like to walk, there are good walking tracks from nearby villages. The local town of Malmedy is very pretty and has a cultural centre, the Malmundarium, which has some interesting exhibitions on the town’s history (especially good for if it is raining!)

Quiet, serene location but less than a 10-minute walk into town. Ample breakfast with cheese, breads, pastries, fruit and soft boiled eggs. Lucas is a great host: he checks in but is not overbearing. Little bear, the cat, is a wonderful host too! Beds are super comfy, good shower. Grateful for the tea station in our room and to Lucas for going out of the way to provide some milk for us. It was also great to have the mini bar and we enjoyed sitting out on the terrace on a sunny afternoon with a glass of wine.
