The spacious rooms at Gasthaus zum Kreuz are non-smoking. All feature wooden furniture, cable TV, and a bathroom. Breakfast was great. Luzern pass was great. Bus right outside the door. Perfect. The host is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Strongly recommend this place.

Lucerne is a 30-minute drive away. Really modern facilities, large rooms, clean, big bathrooms, lots of plugs. Common area was very nice, also the play area for kids. Kitchen was big and clean. Two dining halls which is very convenient .

The zone is in the middle of the village and the village is quite quiet. The hotel has lots of free parking spots. The hotel also has a restaurant, we ate there and the food was delicious.

Location is great, easy to find and easy on public transport. Charming authentic hotel with great and clearly very popular restaurant downstairs. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, basic, but we knew that. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

A nice little town with a great location for the hotel — the train station is very close, so it’s easy to get to places like Lucerne in just 40 minutes. I really liked it; it felt cozy and peaceful. The only thing is, I would have preferred a better breakfast, but that’s just a matter of personal taste. Thank you for a comfortable stay.
