Great place in the mountains for hiking and resting near the lakes. Very friendly staff, so helpful and supportive. Amazing cuisine - we did enjoy the food there (all three meals). Views are stunning. The village is quite small, doesn't have a lot of events. Comfy beds, clean shared bathrooms, clean towels. Places to sit and spend time near hotel.

Quiet and lovely atmosphere in a small village. Very beautiful place. The room was clean and smelled nice. There was a universal plug in the bathroom drawer. And a mosquito killer plug in the wardrobe. Kettle and coffee maker with cups were in the hall. But there are only 5-6 rooms so no problem. The staff were wearing local clothes which were very lovely.

Our rustic-style 3-star hotel with 12 rooms enjoys an idyllic, sunny and quiet location on the edge of the village, offering superb panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Nice, cozy, quiet little place. Could tell the staff was concerned about our well-being.

The hotel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The woman who served us breakfast was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made our mornings delightful. The location was also very convenient for accessing Mount Pilatus.

Located right on the shore of the scenic Eugenisee Lake, Pension St. Jakob is 800 metres from the centre of Engelberg and a 5-minute walk from the Engelberg Cable Car. Grey spot got moved to Espen! Was lovely! Ppl were very nice!!
