Victor and his family were so kind and welcoming. I arrived to a lovely fire and within a few minutes of arriving had a meal ready for me. Breakfast was a huge meal and prices for the lunch is really good. It was such a nice place with beautiful view, so quiet and peaceful and right next to the start of the quilotoa loop trek.

A cool and discreet place with an entrance at a gas station, yet surprisingly quiet and pleasant. They offer a good breakfast, and there’s an excellent restaurant just a 5-minute walk away with stunning views of the Cotopaxi volcano.

Excellent host, great facilities and amazing food (we are vegetarian and we were catered for perfectly)

The inn features an indoor pool, sauna, karaoke and a shared lounge. Staff, cleanliness, decor, food, friendly dogs, even help finding the trailhead in the morning, quietness, beautiful gardens.

The guest house offers a continental or American breakfast. At Cabañas Quilotoa, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and high tea and specialises in Latin American cuisine. I had an excellent experience. The location is perfect central yet peaceful, and the ambiance is cozy and welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable, and featured a fireplace that I enjoyed using daily.  The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Ronald, who assisted me with walking routes, transportation, and even arranged a guide for me. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, certain units at the inn also provide guests with a mountain view. Staff was very flexible. I asked for an early breakfast at 6am and they not only delivered but had a taxi ready to immediately take me to Quilotoa ($5). Highly recimmended.

A continental breakfast is available at the guest house. There is a coffee shop and bar. Javier and his family were so accommodating. I needed to use a computer at a cyber cafe, and Javier offered to let me use his laptop for the morning because he wasn’t using it. Really great service.

The units have a fully equipped kitchenette with dining area, a microwave, coffee machine, and a fridge. Some units feature a terrace and/or a balcony with city views. Guests can dine in an outdoor dining area at the guest house. We had a fantastic experience staying at Hostel Café Tiana in Latacunga. It’s an excellent hostel — super clean, with great facilities, and incredible value for money. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One of the best parts was being able to arrange our Cotopaxi summit tour directly through the hostel. Everything was extremely well organized — the equipment provided was top-notch, and our guides were professional, knowledgeable, and supportive the whole way up. If you're planning a visit to Cotopaxi or doing the Quilotoa Loop, this is the perfect base. We couldn’t recommend it enough!
