Cozy traditional bed & breakfast in a quiet location on the west side of town. Excellent breakfast was provided and a superb host Colin gave me a lot of interesting info about the island and life in Guernsey. Definitely would highly recommend it.

Owner was very friendly made you feel welcome. The service was excellent all the staff were pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Recommend the food especially the home made pie. Rooms were clean and comfortable

Marton Guest House is situated in an elevated position in a residential area 15 minutes walk from St Peter Port town centre. It features a mature terraced woodland garden for guests to relax in.

Each room features an en-suite bathroom, a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Wifi was decent, water was hot with good pressure, bed and pillows were comfy, location and breakfast were good.

Boasting an enviable location by the sea and 2 minutes’ drive from Saint Julian’s Pier, locally known as North Beach, St Georges Guest House is a family-run guest house with free Wi-Fi. Free public parking is also available nearby. Excellent spot for me to get some R&R after an extremely choppy sea voyage from Jersey (people were vomiting all over the place). An intriguing old property with steep, narrow staircases and long, winding hallways. Once I stepped inside, I felt like I was being transported by a time machine to the early 19th century; the time of Romantic poetry and Napoleonic wars. My key was waiting for me at the reception desk. The manager was nice enough to arrange for me to get some breakfast on the go very early in the morning since I had to catch my flight. Cheers! PS The difference between the ebb and flood (several metres) is simply mind-blowing!
