Set in Bunclody, in a historic building, 12 km from Altamont Gardens, The Monkey Puzzle is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and shared lounge. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Fantastic place to stay. Received our codes for the doors before our arrival. Once inside 2 badges per room were left on window sill. With these badges we could come and go as we pleased. This saved us having to tap in the codes each time. Rooms were spotless, Because we only stayed over for one night we didn't actually see anyone as we had to leave early the next morning.

Guests can enjoy golf on-site, home-made breakfasts, and beautiful views. We stay in one ofthe coutyard rooms. It was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed and good linens. The breakfast was exceptional- especially the stewed plums and rhubarb and freshly baked scones.

Wexford town centre is just a short walk away and it has many charming shops and restaurants. The Faythe’s staff can always provide a good recommendation. Great location and helpful owners. Everything clean and loads of room for parking. Very accommodating. Breakfast was awesome and the homemade bread is worth the visit! Damien and the lady who did the breakfast (sorry we didn’t get her name) are very knowledgeable in where to visit on our tour. Even gave us water for our trip. If you are getting off the ferry then this is a great easy reach first night stay

The room was cozy and private with much room for things, even a tiny table and chairs and a little breakfast !! The host was really friendly and welcoming! They had three cute dogs who greeted us outside. Would definitely visit again!!

Well kept, very clean & tidy. Decorated & finished to a high standard. The owner Aisling came in & welcomed us when we arrived which was lovely. She was very friendly & welcoming. She had left us some food provisions to get us started on our arrival and a plate of fresh danish pastries, which were delicious. We wish that we could have had longer, but we only had a couple of days. Would definitely recommend this property.
