Very warm (the bathroom has a heated floor) and when the main heating goes off, there is a portable radiator than can be used. Pam is a delightful host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. There's a plentiful breakfast to be had each morning, with a wide choice of fresh food and coffee or tea, and fruit juice.

We loved the accommodation — the location is perfect, right in front of the castle. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed and more. You can clearly see the care, attention, and love put into every single detail. It truly made our stay special!

The Lodge was very comfortable in a rural setting. The bed was very comfortable and the living area spacious. I didn't expect any breakfast but we were pleased to discover eggs were provided for us to cook breakfast.
