Bright and elegant, each room at Foley’s Townhouse Killarney provides free Wi-Fi and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. Guests can relax with satellite TV and tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, and some rooms have remote control air conditioning. Everything was excellent. The woman in the reception was so kind and helpful. The breakfast was so good. The room... Everything.

Each morning a traditional cooked and continental breakfast is served in the dining room, which has ocean views. The centre of Doolin is 10 minutes’ walk away and has several restaurants serving freshly caught fish.

Doolin Pier is 5 minutes’ walk from the guesthouse and has regular ferries to the Aran Islands. Stunning countryside surrounds the Atlantic View, including the famous Burren area. During my stay at the Atlantic View House I was mesmerised by the stunning views from both my room and the dining hall. The cozy room felt like a safe haven, right next to the crashing waves. In the midst of a fierce storm and heavy rain outside, the guesthouse stood strong like a fortress, ensuring our comfort. I really liked that it also offers a communal space, a welcoming area for a chat on the sofa as in your living room. It was a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty with great hosts, who look after you in all kinds of ways.

The Guesthouse has a patio seating area and all guests rooms have scenic views of woodland or river. The bedrooms are individually decorated and all have en suite bathrooms / wet rooms, walk in showers with toiletries and bathrobes. Rooms also offer satellite TV, WiFi and seating area. Beautiful place, room and location, excellent breakfeast and we received a comprehensive overview of activities and places to see in the area, fit to the length of our visit. Most of the suggestions we received turned out to be amazing. Can't wait to try the recipe we received for Bridget's brown bread. 10/10 would recommend.

Killarney Lodge is just 3 km from Lough Leane and boasts several wonderful golf courses on its doorstep. The Lodge also offers an extensive breakfast menu. The location was amazing and perfect for exploring Killarney town. The breakfast was also way above expectations and with 6 of us it was hard to find places to stay that were reasonable and didn't require us to drive or take taxis etc. We loved our stay and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We will for sure be back. Can't recommend this hidden little gem more.

With a relaxed atmosphere complemented by old style charm and hospitality, the Old Weir Lodge features a spacious foyer and beautifully appointed resident's lounge which provide a comfortable and friendly setting. The staff was amazing and helpful. When we checked in, Linda gave us some recommendations and helped us book dinner (we loved it so much we returned the following night with help from the front desk staff again, I forgot to ask her name, but she was friendly and helpful too). The breakfast staff were inviting and cheery in the morning and the food was tasty and filling. The room was very comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge one night it was fantastic.
