She not only shared valuable recommendations on places to visit but also took the time to chat with us whenever we met, making us feel truly at home. She was genuinely interested in getting to know us and also told us lot of things about Goa, which made our stay even more special. Her hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. We spent a magnificent time in the Narrow Way guesthouse. It's not far from the beach (15 minutes walking) and pretty close to the market and restaurants. It's a nice and quiet place, where you can have a rest after noisy big cities. Edward is very kind and he always helped whether we needed some cutlery or some advise. He also helped to book a taxi for the airport. The room is pretty spacious and clean. One time the neighbours were a little noisy, but Edward helped to solve this question. In general it's a quiet place and you can close the windows and have a really good sleep.

What an incredible oasis of tranquility! We were looking for some time to relax and find peace and this place definitely provided it. The staff was incredible and so lovely and caring, we really felt that we have built a connection with them. In fact we had dinner at the hotel most nights as we wanted to be in their company. A must try is their Masala Chai on the veranda in the evening: they make you feel at home. 10/10 for this one.

Situated in Palolem, 80 metres from Palolem beach, Hilias Retreat boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property has also been recently renovated. The hosts were so helpful when we thought we had lost one of our phones, luckily it turned up. They were also so helpful trying to sort out our Goa Mile's taxi, which failed to turn up. RIna sorted an alternative taxi to our next destination. Thank you so much.
