The location is great, just for walking nearby and driving to Akureiry, Godafoss, Aldeyarfoss, and even Myvatn with all its hits. Sitting on the huge terrace, listening to Whimbrels and Oystercatchers singing – priceless! Good value for money, highly recommended.

This guest house features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The guest house has family rooms. The hosts were amazing and helped with everything we needed. The cabin is beautiful, with a lovely view from the living room. It felt more spacious than in the photos and is conveniently close to Akureyri.

Plenty of towels and comfortable living space. Beautiful views over the fjord, we saw porpoise playing daily. Next door to a popular ice-cream palour. We walked from the airport and also into town easily, no public transport required. A 15 minute walk to the swimming baths and 30.min walk to the forest lagoon ( although some parts of the busy road didn't have paths so not really recommended!) Large tv with Netflix. We did hear a lot of noise upstairs but I'm sure they could hear us too, more the nature of the old house than the guests. Wasn't too keen on the doll in the pram but plenty of great decor never the less. A great stay.
