We had dinner offered by the host and it was delicious and very welcome after all the walking at Petra. If you drive, be prepared for a lot of up hill and down hill but that is just about most places in Jordan, so if you rent a car, get something more than just a small economy one.

We were upgraded free of charge and the room was just lovely. Huge bed, great facilities, impecably helpful staff. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the cave bar was quirky and had a friendly cat :) Right at the entrance to Petra. We couldn't have asked for more and will be back!
