Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. We loved this place. Very clean and had everything we needed. The onsen was amazing! Friendly staff. Shared bathrooms were never a problem. Close to public transport.

Situated 8.5 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Irori Guest House Tenmaku offers 1-star accommodation in Hakone and has a bar. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Lots of travellers. Easy enough to get around on the buses. Capsules are spacious.

Open from August 2017, Guest House Wagokoro offers a modern Japanese-style accommodation an 8-minute stroll away from JR Nippori Station. Each room comes with an en suite bathroom and toilet. Very well located (near Nippori station which is served by the Yamanote Line) and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The bakery nearby is also very good. We had a pleasent stay and will come back next time we’re in Japan. Arigato gozaimasu

Kamakura no Nikki is located in Kamakura, 500 metres from Yuigahama Beach, 2.3 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, as well as 22 km from Sankeien. The hotel made a great impression on us with its exceptional cleanliness and brand-new apartments, which were very comfortable to stay in. The staff were incredibly kind and warmly welcomed us from the moment we arrived, creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Everything was fresh and well-maintained, and the attentive service truly stood out. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values cleanliness and excellent service!

200 metres from Yuigahama Beach, Japanese Modern Inn Kamakura Rakuan Hanare---3min walk from Hase Station is situated in Kamakura and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Host is super friendly and the candy making workshop was really unique!

I like that Mr.Takahiro was very kind and welcoming to his guest house. At the time, I was able to talk and share a lot in the warm communal space at the guest house. I was also able to meet other guests while staying. This was a really unique experience.

Ayana san, the person taking care of the place, is super helpful and friendly (she gave me a lot of tips about the local baths, to contacting the bus station to make sure I got the right information for onward journey).

A traditional home situated in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes away from train station. There’s a communal kitchen and living room for use as well as a private onsen that you can reserve. Hiro, the host, is very accommodating and will provide rides when needed. His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.
