The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! Thank you!

At the guest house, the units have bed linen and towels. The location was great - right on the cycling route, by the sea, great spot for a sunset. Bed was comfortable, shower was great. The hosts were very friendly, welcomed us with a drink, helped us make a dinner reservation and we bought lots of lovely jam from their shop.

Thankfully the staff came to pick me up in the evening because it's so dark and if you don't know the area, it can be hard to get there, so definitely keep communication with the place. It was quite easy to find other spots once daylight came and all at walking distance. The valley is amazing and I imagine lively during summer and warmer times, for the autumn is quieter but still great nature and interesting sightseeing.

We were anxious about the accommodation being close to the road, but it was not an issue at all. Our bedroom balcony extended over the picturesque riverbed. The guest house has recently been renovated in a tasteful, thoughtful manner. We have stayed at accommodations of all budgets, from private multi level ocean front houses to places like this with shared bathrooms. We loved our stay here, there were ample bathrooms, they were modern and immaculately clean, we enjoyed meeting other guests and finding out tips on where to go. The hosts David and Yoshiko are amazing. The Family Mart next door was handy for snacks. Our two teens enjoyed as much as we did the Ramen restaurant and Izakaya close by. Two nights here was not enough for our family of four ( two teens, mom and dag )

Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great place to base for walks in area. Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.
