Absolutely delightful experience staying here and will try to book the same room again next time! Room was very spacious. The twin room was clearly a standard Japanese studio apartment with a lovely small kitchen and big bathroom and shower room. The room was very comfy and clean. It had all the amenities that we needed for our 2 week stay. I was so grateful they had an iron and ironing board, and they even had 2 umbrellas which was very useful! There was also plenty of storage space in the closet for a few large luggage and plenty of hangers to organize our clothes. The location is also fantastic. Just far away enough from all the noise and traffic of high tourist area, but also extremely convenient in terms of transportation to just about anywhere in Tokyo. Otherwise, there are plenty of convenient bus lines less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel that takes you everywhere else.

Great location, in a quiet street yet close enough to everything. Place was clean. Host is responsive.
The hostel was very quiet and comfortable. The beds were nice and big and offered plenty of space, never felt claustrophobic. Due to the heat, there was no need to close the doors to the bed. Location was perfect and right in the middle of tokyo with a 2 minute walk from Sensoji shrine. There were also high quality cheap Ramen places nearby for food. There is also a 7 eleven just outside the accomadtion.
Great location in quiet neighbourhood. Easy to reach from Narita Airport with Keisei skyliner to Ueno and 1 stop Ginza metro G17 from there 5 min walk. Basic but good facilities. Powerful shower, airco. 5 rooms with bunkbeds. Was very convenient for our family of 6. Good communication with the hosts. Easy check in.
Great hostel for first timers in Tokyo. Glad we stayed in this neighbourhood which has lots of good eateries and shops near a peaceful river. The hostel and room itself were very clean and quiet.
This is a great hostel. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. The area is charming. There are multiple coffeeshops and restaurants close by. Kasai Shrine is about 15 minutes walk away. Staff member Reiko is a sweet lady.
Really good location. The area is very lively, but guesthouse is quiet. Accomodating host with an early check-in. Throughly recommend for a few days in downtown Shinjuku/Tokyo.
Great facilities. Great location. Great host.
Great hostel. Super clean. It was very calm and nice, with people being very respectful of one another and I heard absolutely no noise after quiet hours. Bed was supercomfy. Well-equipped kitchen with free coffee. The girl in the reception was wonderful as well, and she helped us with booking tickets to a music festival, even allowing us to use her local telephone number temporarily. (Thank you so much, we got the tickets!!)
Great location. Quiet in the evening. Great host. Good value. Room is clean and full of new facility.
Jij is a great host who made me feel like spending Christmas in a home rather than a guesthouse. After receiving the special-lemon-juice-welcome drink I’ve been shown where to buy delicious Sushi at a cheap price & in the evening everyone gathered around the common table. Definitely my favourite hostel in Tokyo so far.
