The access to the BBQs was the best part - we bought some Hida beef from the local butcher to cook on the outdoor BBQ and it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The traditional, Japanese rooms are incredibly nice. It vibrates a zen atmosphere and is simply lovely. Moreover, there are free bicycles and stand up paddles available as well as a fully equipped kitchen. Even though the host was (mostly) not on site, he was very kind and extremely responsive via booking. I would definitely come again. Highly recommended!

Also it’s just a 7min walk from the station.

The host doesn’t speak English very well so it’s better if you understand a little Japanese.
