The experience was unique, just staying with the local people in the village on the river. Very basic, but everything you need. The place is 45 mins walking distance to Lonely Beach, but there is also a local beach, Palm Beach, close by, and we recommend that one, as hardly anyone visits it. There are many good food options around, as well as shops. There is also a cooking stove on the porch, and unlimited potable water.

Amazing place, I had a tent and was perfect, spacious, with a fan, big bed, a plug, everything you need, bathroom are clean and you're just next to a beautiful and clean beach, food is tasty and at good price. The staff is nice and helpful, you can rent with them a scooter to drive around the island for a really good price. Totally recommended

Great stay at Blondies,John the host is the best host,super chill,attentive and always ready to meet any needs from the guests. The location to me it is the best at Sok San,past the village on the little 'hill' overlooking the bay. Bungalows are basics but really clean and with anything you need,a fridge,a kettle,plenty wall sockets etc. To get to the beach is a mere and pleasant 10 minutes walk. No brainer choice in Sok San.

The owner was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I loved the location 200m up the road from the beach, close enough to be convenient to everywhere but far enough away to have a silent night's sleep. The restaurant directly across the road is probably the best in Mpay Bay too.
