Firstly, it is very remote so you would need to be comfortable riding a bike to get to Koh Touch or some of the other beaches. However, this was not an issue at all for us, the food on site is incredible, probably better than anywhere else on the island. Lonely beach is close by which you can either walk to or rent a Kayak/Bike to get there. There are the cutest dogs there as well which is a big bonus.

The hosts were very friendly & the food delicious. We enjoyed visiting Lonely Beach during the day, a lovely quiet beach which is within walking distance (around 40 mins).

It is 26 km to Sihanoukville. I enjoyed my stay at Bunnan Bungalows very much. The staff were like family, very helpful, accomodating and friendly. They offer scooters for rent or taxi service. They have an own kitchen and the food is very delicious with big portions. I booked a snorkelling trip through the hotel and was very content. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed relaxing there. The place has great Wifi, which is very practical if you are working remotely. They keep the beach clean and its remote location guarantees no party buzz. Can highly recommend and will gladly come back! :-)

The guest house has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. The location of the bungalow was great, in easy reach of restaurant and the piers. The best of our stay were the pavilions with available hammocks overlooking the sea and bay in front of the bungalows. Johny was a great help during our stay and welcomed us with a cold drink. He also organised a scooter and an amazing boat tour. A water tank is provided which is very much appreciated.

It is set less than 1 km from M’Pai Bay Wild Beach and provides bicycle parking. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. The owner was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I loved the location 200m up the road from the beach, close enough to be convenient to everywhere but far enough away to have a silent night's sleep. The restaurant directly across the road is probably the best in Mpay Bay too.

Perfect little seafront guesthouse for backpackers. The owners just finished renovating the place. M'pai has great spots for swimming, snorkelling and plankton swimming, a great variety of really good restaurants and an extremely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. In that environment, the owners created a lovely, simple and creative, affordable guesthouse. There are fans and curtains in every bed of the dorm and they have two small rooms for more privacy as well. They are genuinely nice and super helpful so all in all we had a great time staying with them.
