Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

I especially liked that they had net curtains and a mosquito net over the bed so you could sleep with the windows open and the fan on, fresh air is the best! Such a charming town, with all the necessities close by.

Aqua Blue is right next to the beach, like 50 m away, and in a more quiet location. If you go to the main street, you can sometimes see the 'local' elephant in the marsh nearby. The place is clean, has AC and everything you need, even a hammock to chill in. Basheer is always there to help you with pretty much everything you need. The breakfast is very good and the cappuccino, one of the best in Sri Lanka. I totally recommend Aqua Blue!

We are complete beginners and it was so well taught, and Apple knew the spots to go to!!

I stayed here for 1 night because the place I initially wanted to go was fully booked. I enjoyed my stay at Baywatch so much that I came back here! The people are really friendly and helpful. I was welcomed with a delicious welcome drink and they also serve a nice juice and omelette for breakfast. The room is simple but offers everything I need. The shower is really good (note that it’s cold, but I think in Arugam bay all showers are cold since that’s all you want with all the heat outside). They have a mosquito net and some rooms with AC and some with fan. Every room has a cute little terrace with seats overlooking the main garden area. Location is also perfect, close to the main street and the beach. Overall perfect stay!
