It turned out that we were the only guests, and we felt like really special ones. We were welcomed with fresh juice and a nice conversation by two lovely waiters/kitchen chefs. The view is amazing—better than in the photos. Breakfast was delicious. Our room had a cute balcony on the back side, and it was super quiet. The room was clean, and the staff were really attentive. They helped us organize a tuk-tuk to the city and arranged a car to take us on a full-day trip with a few stops along the way.

We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This 1930s bungalow is sprawled across 98 acres of a tea plantation, at the foot of the Knuckles Mountain Range. This is a magical place to stay! Words don’t describe how special this place is. From the journey up into the mountains, meeting Vish, the atmosphere, the rooms, the service, the food… it is truly special and worth every penny! Go on… spoil yourself!
