This is a beautiful hostel with amazing views and great clean facilities! It’s been the nicest one I’ve stayed in thus far! So close to the beach and great local restaurants! And the walk there Is beautiful!The hosts were very kind and lovely and even helped me plan my bus route up to ella! I highly recommend and was sad to leave!

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Wilson’s place was perfect place to stay, the prices are reasonable and the room is huge, clean and tide. There is a/c and refrigerator, and if you like to get iron they will provide you. There also a water tank you can fill up your water for free. The plus thing you can find in this place is the small garden you can chill or do some yoga. Ramesh was delighted and helpful every time I needed him. Definitely I recommend this place and will come back again.

Parasol Dole is a little slice of heaven. We had the ultimate relaxation time where we were able to switch off from everything. The accommodation is beautiful. We loved the room, which had bi-folding doors directly out to the pool area and beach. The pool was clean and refreshing. We spent the majority of our time on the beach, which felt private as we were usually the only ones on it. There are body boards to use at your leisure and we had so much fun body boarding in the waves for hours on end. There is an area further up the beach that frequently has turtles, so we had the opportunity to snorkel and saw several turtles close to shore. The staff were so generous and hospitable. They kindly organised us tuk tuks into town whenever we needed, which always arrived within 10 minutes of booking. Roshan particularly went out of his way to recommend things to do in the area and offered to drive us round the town for some sightseeing. We couldn’t fault the service. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The pancakes, omelettes and fruit platter were exceptionally good! Highly recommend this serene and stunning boutique hotel and we will definitely return on our next visit to Sri Linka!

Stayed at this family-run guesthouse/hotel for one month. Zero issues. The room (with balcony overlooking a backyard) was spacious, clean and quiet. King size bed was comfortable and protected by a mosquito net. Really neat! Ample sized bathroom with hot/cold water. The fridge is in the common area downstairs. Room cleaning on demand. There's also a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners and staff are super friendly and accomodating. Can arrange a reasonably priced taxi wherever you might need to go. Any other questions and concerns are eagerly answered and helped with pronto. Very laid-back atmosphere overall. Right outside of the hotel on the main road there are two fruit stands, a masage salon and a couple of good mom&pop grocery stores. Easy access (3-5 min) to the ocean and Coconut Tree Hill. Mirissa Beach is a 13 minute walk. Evening/night time the area is pretty quiet as all nightlife happens ~2 km down the main road. Definitely worth the money!
