Different meal served each night. On the first night we had a selection of authentic Sri Lankan curry and rice that was incredible. The pool area is clean, relaxing and the rooms are big and clean. Hotel manager and all staff are very accommodating providing everything we need including bicycles which were a great way to explore the area.

At the guest house, the units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The resort was so calm and surrounded by beautiful trees, a perfect place to relax your mind. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They even provided free bicycles that guests could use, which made exploring the area enjoyable. I truly loved the hours I spent at this resort. It’s worth more than the money I paid

The food and service at The Backwater's Lodge was exceptional and even though we missed our flight connection they rearranged everything without any issue. I recommend a swim in the river after a day safari!

Located in Kandakuli, 200 metres from Kudawa Beach, Coco Cottage Kite Surfing-Kalpitiya provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. The accommodation features room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. Everything! It was a beach hut with an outdoor bathroom under the coconut trees. Just a walk from the beach which I pretty much had to myself! Aby, the owner was so hospitable as was his lovely fiancé. I was their first foreign visitor as they’ve only just opened. They both did everything to ensure my stay was memorable. They even took me into town on the bike so I didn’t have to pay for a tuk tuk. They are great hosts.

During your stay at this guest house, you can make use of an outdoor swimming pool, as well as a selection of a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. This accommodation is very special and we felt like we were in an oasis of calm. The pool was perfect, the house is in a beautiful garden among coconut palms. The mini house is very well equipped for European style (we very much appreciated the separate shower). We really haven't found a single mistake. Too bad we only stayed one night, it was probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka for a month.

The guest house features family rooms. The family was very friendly. The welcome juice was delicious! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable with a good mosquito net. The location was super calm and you can enjoy the sunset over the rice fields. It was very easy to arrange the half day safari with the hosts.
